FLANGE MOUNT

	SERIES 70	SERIES 700
	A more heavy duty agitator than our Series 7, Series 70 flange mount agitators are available with a variety of flange sizes and materials (12" x 12" square flange is standard). Also available with stuffing box or double mechanical seal.	Similar to Series 70, our Series 700 flange mount mixers feature a shaft support bearing to help steady the mixing shaft and reduce wear on the motor. Series 700 mixers are available with a variety of flange sizes and materials (12" x 12" square flange is standard).




	SERIES 710	SERIES 720
	Series 710 flange mount mixers feature a shaft support bearing to reduce wear on the motor and a low pressure stuffing box. Available with a variety of flange sizes and materials.	Series 720 flange mount mixers feature a shaft support bearing to reduce wear on the motor and a double mechanical seal. Available with a variety of flange sizes and materials.

		ACCESSORIES
		PROPELLERS
		A wide range of sizes are available. 3" to 15" diameter boat type propellers, 4" to 24" diameter collapsible propellers, paddles, turbines, and high efficiency turbines are also available. Standard material of construction is stainless steel. Other materials available upon request.

		AIR LINE CONTROLS
		Recommended to ensure long life and trouble free operation when air motors are used.

MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

The illustrations above are normally the best operating position for propeller type mixers. Tank baffles are not required when this position is used.	If the depth of the liquid is approximately equal to the diameter of the tank, a single propeller can be used as shown above C.	Dual propellers are usually specified when the liquid depth is 1.5 times the diameter of the tank or more as illustrated in D above.


SIMPLIFIED SELECTION CHART	TYPICAL VISCOSITIES AT 70°F

The major consideration in mixer selection are time, viscosity of the liquid to be mixed, and the size of the batch. The table below may be used for basic selection in over 90% of all mixing applications. Selections from this chart will provide liquid turnover of approximately 1/2 to 1 times per minute.
