A Gravity conveyor is ideal for carrying light to medium weight packages in either temporary or permanent
installations. We have many varieties of gravity conveyor in stock for immediate shipment.

Gravity Roller Conveyors and Gravity Skatewheel Conveyors do come in various configurations, but the
operating principle is the same.

Roller: A round tube (typically steel) is supported on a shaft (hex or round) by bearings (typically oil sealed). The
shaft is contained within formed or structural punched frames by either internal springs or retaining pins.

Skatewheel: Wheels (aluminum or zinc-coated steel) are supported on an axle - 1/4" dia. threaded on one end with
locknut, spaced on 3" or 4" centers (specify) - by ball bearings (lubricated) run in hardened raceway.

A skatewheel conveyor is ideally used to convey lightweight packages or when operation requires lightweight
sections. Skatewheel conveyors are useful in setting up temporary or permanent conveyor lines in warehousing
activities, shipping departments, assembly areas, etc.

A skatewheel conveyor is offered in various configurations, but the operating principle in all models is the same. A
number of individual galvanized wheels are spaced accordingly on a round threaded shaft separated by galvanized
spacers. The shaft is contained within formed punched frames by retaining nuts. A skatewheel conveyor is suitable for
lighter loads.

Lightweight aluminum construction is ideal for frequent set up and knock down. Galvanized construction provides
excellent durability for applications such as warehouse and the food delivery industry. Many styles of skatewheel
conveyor are in stock and available for immediate shipment including, straights, curves, and spurs.
